Repeat repeat repeat
Are you busy? Tired? A bit over-whelmed or pre-occupied? Hamster-wheel spinning too fast? Just generally feel a bit ‘meh’, at least now and then?
I’m guessing ‘yes’ to most of those questions? If so, you’re definitely not alone. This is exactly how many of our visitors feel too.
Do you read every email you receive? Do you see every social media post of all the accounts you follow? When someone tells you something do you always listen and absorb what they say? Do you notice every word and photo on websites you visit?
I’m guessing ‘no’ to most of those questions? If so, you’re definitely not alone…
Your visitors/customers are also human, and also don’t see everything you put out.
That’s why you need to repeat promotional messages, mailings and information MUCH more often than you think.
I recently mailed all the businesses that I thought would be interested in an online workshop I was offering. I posted about it in a facebook group.
People booked.
Then I did all that again a few days later.
Even more people booked.
This morning I repeated those actions.
Three times as many people booked.
I really hesitated to do the third mailing. It felt like it was too much.
But then I considered how often I see something I’m interested in, and tell myself I’ll react later. And forget. Or lose the initial message.
When I sent out the final mailing, not a single person told me I was over-doing it. Several thanked me for the reminder.
I’ll repeat (!!!): you need to repeat promotional messages, mailings and information MUCH more often than you think. Not everyone sees everything all the time…
At the point when you think you’re over-doing it, you’re probably nearly doing enough. So just keep going. And as I keep saying, people who worry about being ‘pushy’ are never the pushy ones.

Thank you for reminding us to repeat. I know from experience I read email think that sounds interesting; I perhaps have no time then and there to respond (maybe seen it on my phone) or not sure what I am doing on that day. I'll often flag it to go back to it, but then the next day there are a new set of emails to process and the flag gets lost. So I for one are pleased with your repeats.
